1. How can I copy a Dom template from a sub instance into my main instance and open it in the main instance. Can i copy Global Graphic settings between instances?
The way to do this would be to have the Global Graphics Settings as you want them, and then apply them to an individual chart by using the option in "Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart" for "Copy from Global". Then disable the option on that window for "Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings", as this will then have the chart setup to use those chart specific graphics settings. Then save the Chartbook that has that chart in it and exit from the two Sierra Chart intances involved in this process. Then copy the Chartbook from the instance with the chart setup as you want in it to the instance where you want that setup. The chartbooks are located in the 'Data' folder under the main Sierra Chart installation folder and have a file extension of .cht. Start Sierra Chart again and in the destination instance open the chartbook you copied. You can then use the "Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart >> Copy to Global" to get those graphics settings to the Global Graphics Settings for that instance. 2. I have compressed my NQ Dom to 2 ticks. is it possible to to get the Pull stack and current trades to also compress to 2 ticks as well? if not that would be a good feature to allow that. have attached screen shot.
We do not know how you compressed the DOM. You should do this using the option of "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth >> Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) Then you can set the option for "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth >> Apply Combine Incrmement in Ticks to Other Market Data Columns" to "Yes" to have that apply to all the columns in the DOM. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Apply Combine Increment in Ticks to Other Market Data Columns (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) 3. feature request. it would be a great space saving help to be able to flip the trade window to horizontal and be able to place it above the Dom instead of vertical next to it.
Our long-term goal is to have the Control Bar be able to do all the tasks of the Trade Window, so you can set it up as you want it. Most of the functionality is already there, so you can probably do most, if not all, of what you want with the current implementation. When setting up the Control Bar, look at the section for "Special Items" at the bottom of the list for a few of the items you may want.
