User677437, I think I know who you are. Your involved with Sierra chart, the owner or head developer or something like that. And User431178 is John your brother, or something like that. John's the good cop, and your the bad cop. I am really bothered by what you said. I'm 70 years old and one of my bucket list items was to learn to trade. Not for the money because I can't take it with me, but because it always intrigued me. I've been with you guys for about ~7 years and I have spent countless, countless hours trying to learn your software, and yes, watched countless hours of youtube videos. I thought I got reasonably good using SC. As time goes on, you get new ideas and want to change something or do something that should be simply. (like the below posts) And to your surprise you have to spent a day trying to figure out what to change or add, and then when you think you got it figured out, it doesn't work and then spent another day trying to figure out what you missed. A lot of the time you have to go from one setting page to another, to another and another. I thought the idea of software was that software should work for you. Maybe it makes sense to you but your the one built the program, I didn't. I know about 5 other individuals that gave up on using SC and moved on. A few years ago I even paid a programmer to develop some studies that I thought I needed and it worked great until you guys changed something around version 2500 and it killed the study. I spend around $10,000.00 for nothing. I do think SC is a great program and I don't know why I received such hostility just because I asked for support. In fact I was trying to promote SC to v-zonestrading.com. But they seem to be stuck on Investor/RT. Kind Regards, Dan the Man |
