I tested using the control bar text to add it to a chart, and it showed up in the 229 point. Then I checked the settings of the control bar items, and they were all set to 0 point size. So I changed them all to 16 and restarted Sierra. Strangely, the first one now plots in 16 point but all the others still plot in 229 point, despite all having the same 16 point settings in the control bar settings. Either way, it seems I will have no choice but to manually change them on all of my charts, as none of these changes affect the current drawings. It seems like the root cause is some kind of change in how text originating from the control bar is handled. Maybe an update changed the default point values to 0, and so the 229 was assigned automatically. I don't understand how that would affect text already plotted on charts, though. These kinds of things always make me really nervous to update my software. |
