Also, this might be relevant... Several years ago, I customized the control bar at the top to include text tool items. Just simple 1 through 10 counts that would rotate from the last selected text to the next, so that I could count swings without having to edit each text item. Those were all set to the same font size like 16pt. When I wanted text other than those counts, I just picked one, put it on the chart, and then edited the text or other properties from there. I almost never used the Type Text tool from the Tool menu since the control bar method was faster. If I select one of those now using the control bar in the updated version, the font is in the large 229pt. If I select the Type Text tool from the Tool menu, the default text font size is 16, like normal. Perhaps something changed in the defaults of control bar items?
