From the logs, the time it takes to download the missing data is 1 second in each case. You can see this from this from this statement in the logs: Historical Data | HD Request # 2269 | Completion time: 1s.
But, in general, there is going to be some time to download the data and load the chart. We can not say why you are seeing a 5 second delay specifically, but it does not sound like this is unusual for what is occurring. Our recommendation is to use the "Intraday File Update List" in order to have the data downloaded for all the stocks that you will be going through.
