If you are able to interact with the software, but the charts are not updating, then refer to the following:
Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart

If the software is locked up and you can not interact with it, then you would need to terminate the software and restart. You can do this through the Task Manager for Windows, or, worst case, reboot your system.

If you continue to have an issue with the system locking up, then you need to start the system in "Safe Mode" and see if you continue to have a problem. If you do, then let us know. If you do not have any issues in Safe Mode, then you are having an issue with a 3rd party study and you would need to figure out the particular study and talk to the developer (if not yourself).
