So now we know what the problem is: Any idea why I am having the problem? I just typed 1m into a 43 range chart and it is trying to create a 1 range NQ chart instead of a 1 minute NQ chart?
You are trying to change to a 1 Tick Range chart, which would load a lot of data and depending upon the studies on the chart would cause a long calculation time.The problem is you did not enter 1m. You would have just typed 1. And this is why you do not have a problem through the Chart Settings because you cannot make a mistake like this. This is not the fault of Sierra Chart. It is user input error definitively. This is absolute definitive fact.
