With regards to the number of bars, we were suggesting you might need to increase it, not decrease it. When we looked at your chart, everything was fine. We can not reproduce the problem, so we can not say where it is coming from nor can we tell you exactly what to do, as everything works fine for us. Our recommendation for troubleshooting would be to use a different Draw Type for the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition (such as Square Offset Left) so you can see if it is actually being active for those bars.
