If you are able to pull up the Message Log, then the instance is not "locked up", as you can still interact with it. It sounds like the data is not coming in as you expect, is this the case, or is it something else? What happens if you restart the instance? Also, what service is the main instance set to? We wonder if you have the correct symbols for the main instance service. The symbols you have in this sub-instance are for Teton. If you are connected to a different service, then select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" to get the correct symbols for the service you are using.
