If you are using the built-in Trade Simulation Mode, then the chart does need to be open in order to have the Targets/Stops work properly. When you change the chart to a different symbol, then the system is not able to track the trades that you had setup.

If you are wanting to do this, then you will need to use our "Simulated Futures Trading Service", which is server-based, so your orders are held on our servers. Therefore, if you change symbols, you will not have this problem. Refer to the following:

We are a bit confused by your statement that this "crashed some accounts now". The built-in Simulation Mode does not have a concept of an Account Balance, so there is no way for this to occur. And if you are referring to Prop Firm accounts, then the orders should be held with the Prop Firm servers, so you should not have an issue. The only situation where this could be an issue is if you are using "Client Side" specific order types.
