From what you have stated there is no other solution within Sierra Chart. Daily data is only the Open/High/Low/Close/Volume for the day, where that "day" is defined by the exchange. In other words, there is no time frame for the data, just that information for the day. As such, there is no way to "cut" the information in order to have a specific start/end time.

This is why you have to use the Intraday data to create a daily or higher timeframe with specific start/end times. The intraday data is every trade and specifies the time of each trade.

What it does sound like, however, is that you have not looked into how to optimize what you are doing. In particular, you should look into using multiple instances of Sierra Chart to help split the load on the processors, as well as increasing the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit. Refer to the following for these two in particular:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.47 - Use Sub Instances to Distribute Processing Load

High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.12 - Intraday Data Storage Time Unit. Historical Data Record Time Frame.

Then go through the other items on the page that the above links are on. Everything we know to help with performance is on that page.
