Please check the following items:
- In the main instance (not the sub-instance that is started, the main one that is directly connected to Rithmic) note the value entered for the following setting:
Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> DTC Protocol Server >> Historical Data Port

- In the Sub-Instance check the following setting, which should be set to the same value as the setting you noted above:
Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Historical Data Server Port

If these are not the same, then correct this. Note that the default port number for this is 11098. If you are not going to use port 11098, then you should use a port number in the range of 49152 to 65535.
