Hello,

I have SierraChart connected to Topstep through Rithmic. Everything was working fine until Natural Gas rolled over from June to July. Once July became the front month, I was no longer able to place trades on Natural Gas using the symbol NGN5.NYMEX. The error message I get in the trade service log says:

2025-05-30 10:52:36.140 | Rithmic Direct - DTC (Order reject). Info: The risk management system rejected request. Internal Order ID: 1318. Service Order ID: 309061814. Symbol: NGN5.NYMEX. Account: XXXX (I have censored the account number).

I am able to trade other contracts without any problem at all. Including other NYMEX contracts, CL for example.

I have contacted Topstep as well as Rithmic directly about this and they both keep saying the same thing -- that the symbol is WRONG and it needs to be NGN25.NYMEX. (25 for the year instead of just a 5).

I think this makes no sense because none of the contracts on any of the exchanges via this Rithmic connection use 25 for the year, they just use 5 for the year.

Do you have any ideas?
