We do not believe that what you are seeing is due to the Gap Fill options. Rather, this looks like a data problem from Rithmic. Attached is an image of what we see for this product around May 26, 2025. You will see a large gap when the market closes on Friday May 23, 2025, and when it opens again for the regular trading hours on Monday at 08:30:00 - this is due to the missing evening session starting on Sunday night. Then there is a small gap that is barely noticeable going from the close on Monday at Noon to the open on Tuesday at 08:30:00. The thing to do is to delete the data and redownload it from just before Friday and see if the data comes in correctly. But, you are using Rithmic for your data, and we have seen very odd things with Rithmic data, so redownloading may cause more issues. Refer to the following regarding redownloading the data from that time: Data Errors or Spikes in Charts, Flat or Flat Line Graph, Compressed Graph, Errors with Date/Time Values: 2.1.2 Deleting and Re-downloading Data. (Easier and Recommended Method) In the end, we recommend using our Denali Exchange Data Feed for the data. You will not have issues like these with our data.
