The forward projected lines are extensions of the existing lines on the chart from the last bar. So they are NOT the next day's pivot points - they are just extensions of the current day's pivot points.
I see it is documented at the end of the page. Pivot Points: Forward Projecting Pivot Point Lines According to the above, the study might plot the next day's pivot points if the next session occurs within 10 bars after the chart's last bar. This is clear to me now, maybe some info and a link for reference could be added to Pivot Points: Forward Project Pivot Point Lines as this behavior seems to have had confused us both.
