Was there any resolution to this? I am interested as well. If there is nothing already available maybe add a setting in the chart properties to eliminate a set number of significant digits. For example 0 would be all digits (ES = 1647.00), 1 would remove the first (ES = 647.00), 2 the first and second (ES = 47.00) etc, etc. It would make the DOM easier to read and save screen space.
