We noticed from the image that you are running the software on a MAC computer. We do know of an issue with the Chat on MACs (or other emulator software). This is still being looked into, so for the moment the only option would be to not use the chat for alerts. We do not have a timeline on this at this time.

To reset the chat to an original state, so you can move forward, you can delete the files and folders in the "ChatDataHistory" folder under the main Sierra Chart installation folder.
