When the Message Log opens, does it actually get the focus where the title bar actually becomes active? It should not. Before you minimize it, you need to re-size and position it out of the way if you do not want to be in your way. Minimizing it is not enough. If the Message Log is opening it is because there is something going on that you need to be aware of. There is 0% chance we would ever log to a file only.
