Since you have the "Always copy config files to new instance" set to "Yes", this is probably causing your issues with the Chartbook opening and keyboard shortcuts. To start with, are you wanting the same chartbooks to open in the Main Instance and in the Sub-Instance? If so, then keep the "Always Copy config files to new instance" set to "Yes" and make sure you have the chartbooks with the same names in both instances. With regards to the Keyboard Shortcuts, make sure you make any changes in the Main Instance and then restart the sub-instance to get those keyboard shortcuts to flow down. The other option would be to set "Always copy config files to new instance" to "No" and then have each instance setup as you want it. -- With regards to the default study settings, we see that the folder that has the default study settings is not being copied even with the setting for "Always copy config files to new instance" being set to "Yes". If you are comfortable with it, copy the folder named "DefaultStudySettings" from the Main Instance installation folder to the top of the Sub-Instance installation folder (C:\SierraChart\SierraChartInstance_2). You will then have those default study settings in the sub-instance.
