When you are dealing with a Volume by Price profile that is connected to a TPO profile (i.e. Volume Graph Period Type is set to "Based on TPO Profile") then the "Ticks per Volume Bar" is defined by what is being used by the TPO Profile. There is no way to change this. If the Volume by Price study is separate from the TPOs (i.e. a single profile to the right), then this can have any "Ticks per Volume Bar" setting.
