If the main instance is locking up then the Sub-Instance will stop working properly. A Sub-Instance (started with File >> New Instance) get the data and sends trades through the main instance. We assume that the errors stating "DTC - Sub Instance | Did not receive Encoding Response from server. Disconnecting. *" are coming about since the main instance is locked up at that time. We would really need to see your main instance Message Log to see if there is anything in there that can point to a problem. If you have an issue again and if you can get to the Message Log for that main instance, then please get it to us. We do want to point out that you are downloading and viewing a lot of data in your charts. This, in itself, could be part of the problem. You may want to start some additional Sub-Instances and move some of the larger charts to other instances to help with overall calculation and memory usage.
