We did not suggest changing the "Based On". You should not need to do that. First, are you using the "Write Bar Data to File" or "Write Bar and Study Data To File". These are two different studies and you need the "Write Bar and Study Data to File" to do what you want. Second, if you are using the "Write Bar and Study Data to File", then make sure the subgraphs of the "Spreadsheet System for Trading" are not hidden. Or, if they are hidden, and you want them to be, then you need to change the Input on the "Write Bar and Study Data to File" for "Include Hidden Subgraphs" to "Yes". We can not think of any other reasons why you would have a problem with this.
