The setting for "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Continuous Contract" is not part of the linking for the symbol. So having this set for one chart will not affect another chart. But, the Continuous Contract option does get used if you are linking the "Days to Load". Make sure this is not being linked between the charts.
