Yes, you can do the overlay, but when going from a lower time frame to a higher one, you will lose any "turns" that occurred within the time frame of the higher time frame bars. In other words, if you were overlaying from a 5 minute to a 15 minute chart, any "turn" that occurred in a time period of less than 15 minutes will not show on the 15 minute chart.
