That is not the correct documentation. The "Forward Projection Bars" do not establish the position of the bars. They simply allow you to establish a certain amount of time for which there will be blank space ahead of the last bar in the chart. This can allow you to place items in that region. What you are looking for is the "Lock Fill Space" setting.
