We are not able to reproduce this. When the option for "Apply Intraday Session Times to Intraday Chart" is set to "Yes", then regardless of how the symbol is changed (we just tested the Watchlist in particular for this) the Session Times are changing. Make sure the symbols you are comparing have different session times assigned. And make sure the chart that you are using for this has the option for "Apply Intraday Session Times to Intraday Chart" set to "Yes". This is a per-chart setting.
