When you change your service on the Data/Trade Service Settings window and you select OK to close that window, you are prompted to update your symbols. In general, you want to say "Yes" to this question. If you forget, or if you open another chartbook later, then you can update the symbols by selecting "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service".
