Select "Global Settings >> General Settings >> Alerts".

On that page set the option for "Chat Identifier or Chat Name for Alerts" to be blank (i.e. remove anything that you have in this field.

Also, for each Alert that you may have setup the notification to the Chat, be sure to select the Alert number at the top of the page and then set the option for "Send Alert as Chat Message When this Alert is Triggered" to "No".

Select OK to close the window when this is all done.

This should resolve your issues.
