There is no particular reason why you would have any issues with the Numbers Bars for the XAUUSD. You are on an Activated Trial, so you have access to the Numbers Bars study, and the CFD data from FXCM has the necessary Bid/Ask information to display the Numbers Bars properly.

Make sure the underlying data is present and looks good. by removing the Numbers Bars study.

Also, make sure your "Intraday Storage Time Unit" is set to "1 Tick". Refer to the following:
Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings)
