Refer to this setting: General Settings Window: Use Symbol Settings in New Instances when Started (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> New Instances) Although we would recommend using the same symbol settings in the Main Instance as in the Sub-Instance, so it is best to make the change in the Main Instance and then leave the above setting as "Yes", to have the symbol settings update to the sub-instances.
