1. You may not visibly see a lost connection in the Status Bar. Since the connections are handled through what we call sub services. 2. Yes refer to: General Settings Window: Server Connection Lost Alert (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Alerts >> Other Alerts) 3. You just need to move it through the "Global Settings >> Customize Control Bar" and move the Status Bar down in the list, which moves it to the right for a horizontally displayed control bar.
