The reason why you are getting that grey coloring is because you are using a Background Coloring Method for Column 2 of "Based on Diagonal Dominant AskVol BidVol - Actual". For this background coloring, if neither the Bid or Ask is diagonally dominant, then the "Default Background Color" is used.
