I'm using some advice from Frederik at Simple System Trading since I'm using his copier. The copy I trade from has 2 instances, the primary is connected to Rithmic, and the secondary instance is in sim mode, transmitting signals to the other (primary) instance. This is for performance reasons (though at the moment I'm not entirely convinced it's needed but... no definite conclusion quite yet). The other 2 copies of SC are just connecting to their respective Rithmic connections. So I'm technically running 3 "copies" of SC, but one of them is running a sub-instance. I also keep 3 copies of RTrader open for the same reason. Things absolutely DO get out of sync at times, and they always will because of the way Rithmic functions, especially with their "paper trading server". I'm constantly monitoring the Rithmics as I trade.
