Hi, That's very useful and I will use that information but I think I must not have been clear and apologize. I want to use the number IN another study like volume by price or numbers bars. Here's an example say I have 1m chart and using volume find the 20 period moving avg of volume. I then create a volume by price study to show this on every bar and I use 10% of volume MA to SHOW VOLUME for that study. Or for numbers bars I display text that is 10% of the moving avg of volume. The volume and MA is dynamic and thus it will change my numbers bars and how they are displayed over time based on the dynamic nature of the market! Having to do this manually on many charts would be nearly impossible while trading. Hopefully I'm clear now. I tried putting in a value say ID3.SG3 in volume by price text display field and it didn't work so assume this is not YET possible :-) |
