You do need to keep your Interactive Brokers account (or open another brokerage account somewhere) in order to be able to get the real-time data for the CME Group. This is in order to qualify for their Non-Professional exchange fees. But, if you are not doing any trading from the IB workstation, then you would not need the real-time data from IB.
