When you select a tool to draw with, the prior tool configuration is also selected. So, if you draw a line with tool config 2, the next time you select the line drawing tool, tool config 2 will be selected again. Each tool remembers the last tool configuration that was used for that tool. To make use of the tool configurations, you have to properly set them up, see http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Tools.html&CAID=#DrawingToolConfiguration When setting up the configurations, be sure to properly save the configuration(s) by using the Apply or OK buttons. If you cancel or close the Configuration edit window without saving, then those changes will be lost.
