I used to have mine set up like Tony mentions but when the clocks change the session time are all wrong. So avoid this confusion and save me having to change session times 4 times per year I changed to Chicago time and I never have to change anything

User585104 made a great point, there is a serious flaw of my way, that there will be one-hour data
missing (1st hour) for 3 weeks in a year, most of time, it is not a big deal, but for days like today... :D

The solution would be:
Intraday Session from: 13:30:00 to 21:59:59
Evening Session: from 22:00:00 to 13:29:59

And make sure that
Chart Settings --> Chart Data --> Allow Zero Values
is set to "No"

Then you will never miss any data under any circumstances, and you will never even have to worry about
different Daylight Saving schedule anymore.

So most of time there will be no data between 22:00:00 to 23:00:00, or sometimes no data between
21:00:00 to 21:59:59, but then there will be no candle bars printed for zero values anyway.

The reason I modify Intraday start time to 13:30:00 is that for Index Futures, it is not uncommon
at all that big actions start one hour before NY stock market open, which is not predictable regardless
whether you use Global Time Zone settings or not, since you mentioned that your course really emphasizes
on session times, it is probably not a bad idea. (I don't use evening session)
