You can not connect to an external service while on a trial. We have changed your trial to be on Package 12, which is the equivalent of the trial, but this will allow you to connect to trading and get real-time data. Note that we no longer support Gain Capital, so the version you are running is one of the last that does support it. We can not help with any issues with Gain Capital.
