You should not have to alter anything. The thing to keep in mind when you have an issue with data in the Sub-Instance is that it gets data from the Main Instance. Therefore, you would have to check the Main Instance to see if the data looks correct there or not and then correct it in the Main Instance before doing the sub-instance. But, hopefully, you just would not have issues that require any of this. Simulation Mode On does not make any difference to the data.
