If it is something that we can answer quickly, then we will typically respond - particularly if it is just to point someone to the right function or variable. But if it is an in-depth question (which yours are) then it is not something we would get into. The best option is to post here and tag it as Programming Help and write that you are looking for community help. Also, keep your questions simple - your original post is quite complicated in terms of what you are asking - if you break it down into smaller pieces along with code snippets, then you are more likely to get help.
