Sierra Chart is setup to allow data from the defined Current Selected Service as well as from our Data Feeds.

First, the system will check to see if you are setup to get real-time data for the particular instrument from our data services, if so, then it gets the data from us.

Next, if your account is not setup for real-time data for a particular instrument, then it will look to get that data from the connection you have setup in the Data/Trade Service Settings for the Current Selected Service. If it can get the data from there, then it does.

Next, if the system can not get the data from either of the above, then you will get an error message stating that it could not get the data from your selected service provider.

Therefore, if you are setup to get data from IQ Feed and from Sierra Chart, then you will get the data from us first and any other data from IQ Feed. This will occur within a single instance of Sierra Chart. You do not need multiple instances in this case.
