hi i am wondering is it possible to trade multiple data feeds? for instance i use the iq feed to trade the ftse 100 futures but want to use the denali data feed to trade oil and gold futures?

Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time after reading the documentation at the link above, do I understand correctly that to achieve mutiple connections to different data feeds requires multiple instances of SC each connected to separate data feeds?

Sierra Chart is setup to allow data from the defined Current Selected Service as well as from our Data Feeds. First, the system will check to see if you are setup to get real-time data for the particular instrument from our data services, if so, then it gets the data from us. Next, if your account is not setup for real-time data for a particular instrument, then it will look to get that data from the connection you have setup in the Data/Trade Service Settings for the Current Selected Service. If it can get the data from there, then it does. Next, if the system can not get the data from either of the above, then you will get an error message stating that it could not get the data from your selected service provider. -- Therefore, if you are setup to get data from IQ Feed and from Sierra Chart, then you will get the data from us first and any other data from IQ Feed. This will occur within a single instance of Sierra Chart. You do not need multiple instances in this case. Ok I think the last two responses from Sierra are saying different things. But since I don't see a way to run IQFeed and Denali at the same time then in the same instance then, I assume Engineering's response is right and not SC Support's response. In order to see the consolidated tape for all US Equities, and the Nasdaq depth (from Nasdaq totalview in Denali feed) at the same time in the same instance, I need to subscribe to U.S. Equities (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX) in the SC Realtime Feed in addition to Nasdaq totalview in Denali? Thanks

What exactly do you want to do in terms of getting data from IQFeed and Denali? In order to see the consolidated tape for all US Equities, and the Nasdaq depth (from Nasdaq totalview in Denali feed) at the same time in the same instance, I need to subscribe to U.S. Equities (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX) in the SC Realtime Feed in addition to Nasdaq totalview in Denali? You can do this by subscribing to both the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed with the U.S. Equities and the Denali Exchange Data Feed with the NASDAQ TotalView. When you open a chart, the symbol you use determines which data feed the information comes from. The data for a standard symbol (such as IBM) will come from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, whereas the data for a symbol with the -NQTV suffix (such as IBM-NQTV) will come from the Denali Exchange Data Feed. So I can use both symbols on the same chart so that I can have depth and regular data on there? What exactly do you want to do in terms of getting data from IQFeed and Denali? I am trying to use the IQFeed data that I'm already paying for (and using with other programs), for US Equities, and use your Denali Nasdaq Totalview along with it. Essentially what I think you're saying I can do with the SC Exchange Data + Denali Feed. But I think you're saying I can't do it with IQ Feed + Denali.

You need to have separate charts: So I can use both symbols on the same chart so that I can have depth and regular data on there? It is planned as an upcoming feature, for us to combine this data, but that could still be 2 to 3 months away. To avoid issues and conflicts you really need a separate installation of Sierra Chart as compared to IQ Feed, to use either the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed or the Denali Data Feed.
