Is it necessary to convert older chartbooks and update to version past 2363 for IB/Denali setup? Yes, it is necessary to update to the current release of Sierra Chart due to changes that have taken place by Interactive Brokers. Specifically changes to the data stream, the trading information and most recently changes to the symbols. In order to ensure that you can get data and/or place trades, you need to be on the current version of Sierra Chart along with the current stable version of the IB software. How/where can I privately bulk convert a large number of older chartbooks together?
