The first rebuild yesterday reproduced the problem but it was made from a cleaned up version of the CHT in question.
Today I built two more chartbooks also in a different installation and now I can not reproduce the problem.
So I dont want to steal more of your time and instead rebuild everything since the problem seems to be in the CHT and not the software version.
