If the chart was old, then it's possible that you were using a different service, or the symbols may have just changed. Try opening the Chartbook and selecting Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service. Let us know if that does not solve it.

In terms of transferring the chartbook, the easiest thing is to just copy it by using a USB Flash drive to move it between computers. The full instructions for updating one installation to another is at the following link, but if you just want the one file, then just follow the instructions and copy the one file:
