The CFE is the VIX futures. In order to get the VIX index you need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and enable the CBOE Indices. Then you will be able to open a chart for $VIX. You will continue to have access to the data through the rest of October, but then you will not get charged for the exchange again in November.
