With regards to VIX. Are you wanting the VIX Futures or the VIX index? You are signed up to get the VIX Futures from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. You can find the symbols for this instrument by going to File >> Find Symbol and selecting the section for Futures - CFE. If you are wanting the VIX index ($VIX) then that is part of the CBOE Indices exchange that is available through our Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. You can not get the data for this index without paying for it, this is why your chart is blank and you are getting the error message. But it will not be real-time. If you want Real-Time data for that index, then you need the S&P Indices exchange that is part of our Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.
