It seems like Parallels is a better option for M1/M2, because it runs natively.

Last time Apple needed a translator was in late 90s when they switched from PowerPC to Intel based CPU, the translator was called Rosetta, 2 years later Apple announced they stopped supporting Rosetta (not surprisingly), there's a good chance that the life span of Rosetta 2 will be the same, if not shorter.

Right now Codeweavers are struggling to make Crossover running natively on M1/M2, if they failed to get this done in 2 years, the Crossover will not be usable on new Macs
