+1 on this one. Though it is possible to work with intraday data, attaining historical daily/weekly/monthly data for longer periods of time is more readily available than with intraday data. historical futures / equity data going back over 10 years is freely available on the net. here is an example of gold/silver price ratio going back to 1687 ;) http://www.quandl.com/search/gold%20price |
