If you are with Tradeovate whether you use Sierra Chart or not, please recognize that Sierra Chart can provide you superior solutions, at the same or better costs. Look at this information from Tradeovate: From Tradeovate - Since Sierra Chart has not developed to our API, the connection would be made via CQG. This means that there would be a $15/month CQG connection as well as a * second set of market data to power Sierra Chart*. If you are wishing to trade via Sierra Chart, CQG also charges a $.15/side order routing fee. This routing fee would not apply if setting up Sierra Chart as a charting only application and trading via Tradovate. You would need to request this to be set up by emailing support@tradovate.com
Also, if you place a trade through Sierra Chart you can only close it thorugh Sierra Chart and vice versa with tradeovate. There simply is no reason to be using Tradeovate or CQG. Instead use the Teton Order Routing Service and the Denali Data Feed.
